Robbery suspect arrested at Dollar General

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug. 24, 2025 – Jonesboro Police are investigating a Sunday night attempted robbery at a Dollar General Store.

According to a post on the Jonesboro Police Department Facebook page JPD Delta Squad officers were on the scene at the Dollar General Store on East Johnson during the 9 o’clock hour Sunday night.

The post said the suspect tried to force store employees to open the store’s safe. The post said several customers watched the incident as it unfolded inside the store.

JPD Officers Ben Bass and Scott Martin arrived at the store quickly. The officers arrested the suspect inside the store as the robbery unfolded.
