Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 30, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Snow White: Snow White is a 1-year-old, female domestic shorthair. She came in as a mama to the Seven Dwarfs litter, who’ve now all been weaned. She’s been in the shelter for 42 days. She’s microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She’s playful and friendly and ready for a furever home!
