Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug. 7, 2025 – Jonesboro police are investigating a shooting that took place Thursday evening.
JPD public information official Sally Smith said police were notified of a shooting incident around 8:16 p.m. at Greensboro and Mays Road.
She added that one person received what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries and they were taken to the hospital.
The Criminal Investigation Division is on scene to begin its investigation, she said. Around 10:15 p.m., police had cleared the scene, K8 News reported.
