Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug. 13, 2025 – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will soon be offering temporary curbside pickup in light of recent HVAC issues.
Curbside pickup will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4 and 6 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Aug. 19.
This service will only be available during these temporary hours. Once the library resumes regular hours, curbside services will end.
“We understand these hours are not ideal for everyone. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we wait for the necessary part to arrive and our HVAC to be repaired,” a Facebook post from the library said.
The library is operating under new hours while awaiting HVAC repairs. The new hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed on Saturdays.
To arrange curbside pickup, call the circulation desk at (870) 206-9994 to schedule a pickup time. Pickup will occur on the Madison Street side of the library near the Round Room.
Upon arrival patrons will call the library to check in. A library worker will then bring the items they have on hold to the patron’s vehicle.
