Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Jonesboro University Heights Lions Club recently presented three veteran art teachers with Dalstrom Distinguished Service Awards during school ceremonies.

The awards recognize the teachers’ years of helping the club participate in the annual Lions International Peace Poster competition for 11 to 13-year-old artists. The Edwin Dalstrom awards are provided by the Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Service in Memphis, named after the founder of Mid-South.

Each award represents a $1,000 donation from the JUH Lions to Mid-South.
