Helicopter called to 2-vehicle crash in Craighead County

Craighead County, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – A helicopter was called to the scene of a crash in rural Craighead County Friday afternoon.

Capt. Matt Kirby with the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office told JRN that the two-vehicle accident occurred on County Road 905 in front of Busch Agricultural Resources. The accident involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle.

Kirby said the semi-truck driver was uninjured, and the passenger vehicle’s driver, who was flown out via helicopter, was awake and alert when airlifted.

He added that the scene has since been cleared.
