Downtown Jonesboro roads to be closed Wednesday

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Roads in downtown Jonesboro will be closed on Wednesday for the Jonesboro High School homecoming parade.

According to a Facebook post from the City of Jonesboro, Union and Main streets, as well as Oak and W. Jefferson avenues, will close for the parade from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The parade will start at First Baptist Church and First United Methodist Church parking lots, then go down Union Street. It will turn on Oak Avenue, proceed onto Main Street, turn onto W. Jefferson Avenue, and turn back onto Union Street, then return to the church parking lots.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes and exercise caution in the area.
