Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – September 1, 2025 – Friday night under the lights at the First National Bank Arena promises to be unlike any other this fall as Dwight Yoakam brings his Cosmic Roundup & Rodeo Tour to Jonesboro, with Ashley McBryde and Walker Montgomery as special guests on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 7 p.m.

It’s a rare treat for a community where major concerts don’t come around often—the next few weeks are particularly noteworthy, with Jonesboro gearing up to host four concerts. After Yoakam’s show, the lineup continues with Whiskey Myers on September 18, Jon Pardi on September 20, and TobyMac, MercyMe, and Matthew West on October 2.

For Ashley McBryde, this isn’t just a stop on the tour—it’s a heartfelt homecoming. Raised in nearby Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, McBryde attended Arkansas State University, performed with the ASU concert and marching band, and now returns to the First National Bank Arena—located right on A-State’s campus.

Though McBryde recently treated a smaller, intimate crowd in her performance with the Delta Symphony Orchestra, that event stood apart as a limited-attendance affair—this Friday’s show is set to be her most significant appearance in the area.

Fans may recall that McBryde had to cancel some shows over the summer due to voice issues—but. current updates reassure that the Jonesboro concert is moving forward as planned, with no cancellations reported.

With a venue that seats over 10,000 for concerts, this show is poised to fill not just seats, but hearts—serving as a musical milestone linking McBryde’s roots to her rising success.

As marketing director Mac Beaverstock noted, “We’re incredibly excited to host four major concerts at First National Bank Arena this fall. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring high-energy, live entertainment to Northeast Arkansas and continue building on the momentum of our previous shows.”

This September, Jonesboro isn’t just hearing music—it’s making memories. And for McBryde, it’s a triumphant return home. Tickets to Friday’s concert are available here.
